The name Pandora in Greek mythology, is made up of two Greek words πάν (Pan) meaning “all”and δώρον (Doron) meaning “Gift” (the name means “all giving” or “all gifted”) .
As the legend goes, the god Zeus instructed Hephaestus to create the first human woman, that’s when Pandora appeared on earth.
Pandora was given a box as a gift and instructed not to open it, but like Eve who ate the apple from the forbidden tree, Pandora’s curiosity got the better of her an opened the box releasing hatred, greed, misery, pain and al evils into the word.
